HOUSTON — Next week, Doug Emhoff will be in Texas to campaign for Texas Democrats, including Colin Allred. Emhoff’s swing will begin on Monday in San Antonio, where he will speak at a rally primarily supporting Allred.
Colin Allred has sheepishly endorsed Kamala Harris, gotten frustrated when reporters asked him about her campaign, and kept her campaign at arm’s length because he knows she is deeply unpopular in Texas.
“Colin Allred might as well be campaigning with Kamala herself. I’m sure the Democrats think they’re being strategic by sending her husband instead of her. Still, the fact remains that Emhoff is just a mouthpiece for Kamala and represents all of the terrible policies an Allred-Harris partnership would bring.
