HOUSTON — Last night, on Capital Tonight, Colin Allred was called out by Harvey Kronerg, publisher of the Quorum Report, for dodging the press.
Harvey Kronerg said in part the following.
“The fact that he wasn’t going to appear as the guy challenging Ted Cruz was extraordinary. But they have been ducking the press pretty consistently. There was a news crew from Austin that specifically went to the state Democratic convention and had an appointment to interview him, and he ducked the interview…As a candidate, he has not been very impressive.”
Here’s a list of things Can’t Comment Colin has yet to comment on:
- The recent murders by illegal aliens in Texas.
- Border Czar Kamala Harris’ open border policies record.
- His vote against H.R. 2, the Secure the Border Act.
- His vote for funding mass amnesty for illegal aliens.
- His support for tearing down the border wall and calling it ‘racist’.
- Attending a campaign event that shared tips on how illegal aliens should evade ICE and law enforcement.
- His recent endorsement by NextGen America, an organization that has called for the defunding of the police and the abolition of ICE.
- Voting against parental notifications for gender changes and his vote for exposing our kids to sexual content.
- Voting twice against an effort to prohibit Presidents from unilaterally banning fracking, an industry that created 1.7 million jobs, increased wages, and benefited local economies. Such a ban could increase energy costs for the Average American family by 14%.
“Even when Can’t Comment Colin isn’t snubbing the press by skipping interviews or literally running away from questions, he refuses to give answers on issues that Texans want to know when he does talk to the media. If it’s not an extremely controlled environment, he won’t speak to the press. After his event this past weekend in Dallas, he refused to do a press gaggle when numerous members of the media were present.
