Colin Allred’s No Good Very Bad Week

HOUSTON — Colin Allred surely broke a record this past week with all of the anti-Texas votes and comments he made.

Let’s take a look:

COLIN’S CATASTROPHIC, ANTI-TEXAS WEEK

  • Texan Alexis Nungaray, mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, who two illegal aliens murdered, responded to Colin Allred after he accused her of politicizing her own daughter’s death.
  • Allred voted AGAINST a bill that would ensure accountability for key Biden-Harris Administration officials involved in the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, which resulted in the death of 13 service members, including a Texan.
  • Allred allowed his good friend Sen. Cory Booker to block the TAKE IT DOWN Act, a common-sense bill that targets a pervasive issue first brought to Senator Cruz’s attention by a Texan mother whose daughter was the victim of AI revenge porn.
  • In an interview with Capital Tonight, Allred was asked about comments he made toward Alexis Nungaray when he bashed her for her advocacy in fighting for stronger immigration laws after her daughter, Jocelyn, was murdered by two illegal aliens. Instead of owning up to his mistake and apologizing, Allred pivoted.
  • Allred voted AGAINST HJR 136, nullifying the Biden-Harris EPA mandates that would force two-thirds of all new vehicles to be electric by 2032. He is standing with the Biden-Harris Administration, which threatened to veto the measure, instead of Texas oil and gas workers and everyday Texans who don’t want to be forced to drive electric vehicles.

A Cruz Campaign spokesperson issued the following statement.

“If this one week is any indication of what six years will look like in a world where there’s a Senator Allred, Texas is facing a future of despair and chaos. Allred’s time in office, on the campaign trail, and the last several days prove that he would upend life as we know it in Texas.

“The old saying goes, ‘So goes Texas, so goes the nation.’ Our nation and state are at a crossroads, and Allred has repeatedly shown voters he does not deserve their trust or confidence, much less their vote.”
