- Ted received an A+ rating on the 2023 Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America National Pro-Life Scorecard for his steadfast commitment to defending life in the Senate.
- Ted has consistently voted for legislation that supports life and against pro-choice legislation including the Women’s Health Protect Act of 2021, which would have allowed doctors to refuse medical treatment to infants who survived an abortion and would allow for unborn children to be aborted by tearing them limb from limb.
- Ted applauded and supported the Supreme Court’s decision in the Dobbs case stating, it was "nothing short of a massive victory for life, and it will save the lives of millions of innocent babies.”
- Ted successfully defended Texas’s Rider 8, which prohibits state funds for groups that provide abortions.
- Ted led the charge on behalf of 13 states to successfully defend a federal law that bans partial birth abortion before the U.S. Supreme Court.
- Ted advocated for an investigation into abortion practices in the U.S. to prevent the atrocities witnessed in Kermit Gosnell’s facility from ever happening again.
- Ted co-introduced the IVF Protection Act to safeguard IVF access for all families.
- Ted co-authored an Amicus brief urging the Supreme Court to overrule Roe and Casey and send the decision to be sent to the states.
- Ted co-introduced the Support and Value Expectant (SAVE) Moms and Babies Act to strengthen federal control over chemical abortion drugs.
- Ted co-led an Amicus brief supporting Texas’ decision to defund Planned Parenthood.
