HOUSTON — Colin Allred is slated to give the keynote address to the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the Human Rights Campaign. This radical group is known for its advocacy of punishing parents who will not allow their children who are minors to have sex transition surgeries.
In 2023, the Human Rights Campaign went as far as to condemn one of the most liberal governors in the country, California Governor Gavin Newsom, for vetoing a law that would have revoked custody from parents who refused to “affirm” their children’s choice to undergo sex transition surgeries. Colin Allred has a perfect score with this dangerous group.
Just last week, Colin Allred signed a letter that advocated for the U.S. Military to carry out transgender surgeries and facilitate transgender care for minors, including hormone therapy, puberty blockers, and other medical procedures.
A Cruz Campaign spokesperson issued the following statement.
“This coming off the heels of Colin Allred, just last week, advocating for taxpayer-funded transition surgeries under the umbrella of our military is jarring. One day, Allred is a bipartisan champion; the next, he’s a champion for the most radical factions of the Democratic party. You never know which Colin Allred you’re going to get, but one thing is for certain: he’ll always be a danger to Texas children and families.”
