Will Can’t Comment Colin Denounce Climate Extremists?

HOUSTON — Climate extremists unsuccessfully attempted to derail an event honoring Senator Ted Cruz for being a champion of the energy industry.

The radical group, Climate Defiance, stormed the stage and interrupted Sen. Cruz’s remarks about standing up for our oil and gas workers and the importance of U.S. energy dominance for our nation’s economy and national security. They later tweeted about their effort and used offensive, derogatory language to demonize Sen. Cruz.

We’re calling on Can’t Comment Colin to denounce the protest and their radical climate platform.

“Can’t Comment Colin has been attempting to convince Texas voters that he supports all forms of energy production, even though his record says otherwise. That’s why we are calling on Allred to denounce the actions and rhetoric of these extreme climate ‘activists.’ After all, if he really is a supporter of all forms of energy production, denouncing these radical leftists shouldn’t be an issue.” —Cruz Campaign spokesperson
